The former residence is located on a busy commercial street in Clifton, NJ, and had been used solely as an office prior to being purchased for use as a chiropractor’s office. The doctor wanted to create an office for himself without losing the character of the original building. The design of the alterations and addition to the ground floor included the enclosure of the existing wrap around porch for an entry, vestibule, and x-ray room. Former living space was converted into a reception area, a private assessment room, patient waiting area, and treatment area. A barrier free restroom and entry access was also designed for the new office.
